Jimmy Rogers was an American Chicago blues singer, guitarist and harmonica player, best known for his work as a member of Muddy Waters' band of the 1950s.

By the mid-60's, he was only a part-time musician, setting up shop as the owner of a cab stand, a shoeshine stand and a Chicago clothing store, which burned in the 1968 riots after the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. By the 1970's, he took part in all-star blues tours and in the 80's he started to make small tours under his own name.
