Ivy Jo Hunter (born George Ivy Hunter) was a soul musician and rock and roll pioneer, a songwriter and record producer for the Motown label. Often confused with both blues singer/pianist Ivory Joe Hunter and Motown pianist Joe Hunter (musician) who was leader of the label's houseband The Funk Brothers from 1959 - 1964.
