Formed from the ashes of Detroit rockers Guardian Angel, Lightnin' was comprised of vocalist/guitarist Al Jacquez, lead guitarist Jeff Jones, bassist Mark Gougeon, keyboardist Tim McCoy, and drummer Dave Morgan. Despite relentless touring throughout the South and the Midwest, Lightnin' never managed to break through nationally, and a self-titled EP remains the sum of their recorded legacy.
