Both the Ragnar Karavan Band and Gary Pryka & the Scales mix reggae, R&B and heavy metal with more pop concerns. While both bands present somewhat of a challenge to the ear (both play almost all originals) the effort is well-spent. Pryka and Karavan are unusual and engaging singers as well as talented songwriters.
